ESO offers dance and martial arts classes for students of all ages, from toddlers through high school. Programs include classical ballet, pre-ballet, hip hop, and martial arts. Class schedules, pricing, and age groups are listed below. Email eso@esoartscenter.org or call the office to register.
A Registration Fee is due once a year per student. A one-time payment of $25 is valid for 12 months of class (July 1 -June 30). Register today!
Karate with Robert Buckner
Mondays and Thursday (Beginners/Youth 5:30-6:15PM)
Fee: $60 per month
Teaching for over 20 years, Sensei Buckner holds a 7th Degree Black Belt in Okinawin Shorin-Ryu. Learn effective self-defense techniques while improving over-all physical conditioning & mental focus.

Ballet with Dana Floyd
Floyd has taught Classical Ballet at ESO for over 30 years, with classes for students from 1st grade through high school. Students perform in two annual productions—The Nutcracker in December and the Spring Ballet in May—with additional production fees to cover costumes, theater rentals, and sound/video professionals.
A full schedule is available to print below. Ages are approximate; level is determined by the instructor at registration and during the first week of class. Level changes are common in the first month—please notify the office if your dancer is promoted to a new class.

A playful, music-filled intro to movement for our youngest dancers. Caregivers are welcome to join in.
5:05 PM – Preschool
Ballet basics taught through songs, games, and imaginative story-dances.
5:50 PM – Kindergarten
Fundamental technique, terminology, and musicality, preparing dancers for Level 1 Ballet with Miss Dana.
Hip Hop with Chloe Harper

Join instructor Chloe Harper for a Hip Hop dance class inspired by the movements of African dance that incorporates aspects of pop, modern, tap, and swing. This class teaches an upbeat, energetic technique and gets students moving to a variety of hip hop and rhythm and blues music. Classes will encourage students to step outside of the box by bringing their own individual style and personality to the movements and inspire confidence while building strength and coordination. Required: comfortable closed toe shoes (to be used only in the dance studio) and comfortable clothes that do not restrict movement.
