Beginning to Advanced Level, ages 16 and up

A community writing workshop for aspiring and published writers of fiction and creative nonfiction, providing reading of work, group discussion and critique, and editing & publishing advice from two authors with almost 40 published books between them. Meets once a week for 10 weeks.

Tai Chi for Health with Jim Mahoney
Mondays, beginning Jan. 7th (9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.),

Exercise class for adults of all ages that includes traditional warm-up exercises and learning the Yang style long form. Tai Chi is a slow, low-impact series of movements known to improve concentration, strength, & balance and is beneficial for treatment of a variety of medical conditions. A relaxed atmosphere with the opportunity for personal attention to your progress. *The instructor recommends attending a complimentary class before enrollment.

A fusion-style class that's fun and challenging. Designed to build strength & flexibility. PiYo is a class that combines Pilates, Yoga, Dance, Strength Training and Balance into an up-tempo flow combining energetic and powerful moves into a fluid and safe workout. PiYO is unlike any other fitness class. Modifications are offered. Suitable for all fitness levels. This class is for beginning & intermediate students, and covers oil painting materials & mediums, brush handling, layering of an oil painting, alla prima, plein-air and glazing techniques, composition, and creating depth.
