DANCERS
ACCEPTED TO TOP SUMMER PROGRAMS
Five
students from ESO's School of Dance have been accepted to the
prestigious Rock School for Dance Education in Philadelphia, PA.
Bess Badger, Kristin Cody, Grace Howie, Ellie Saunders and Heidi
Waldenmaier will be attending the Rock School of Ballet Summer
Intensive.
The Rock School for Dance Education is the official School of
the Pennsylvania Ballet Company and is known for encouraging and
nurturing artistic excellence. The Rock School instills a quality
of thought and action that enriches the lives of all the students
regardless of their ultimate careers. The Rock School for Dance
Education is the #2 Balanchine Ballet School in the country and
during its 44-year history, the school has developed dancers for
premiere companies of the United States as well as a host of other
internationally known ballet companies in Europe and Asia.
Devin Hantin was also accepted to the Joffrey Ballet School Summer
Intensive for Young Dancers in New York, NY. Many other ESO School
of Dance students will be attending the Richmond Ballet Summer
Intensive in Richmond VA, as well.
ESO is very proud of the accomplishments of all their dancers
and appreciates the hard work and dedication demonstrated by Dana
Floyd-Sutter, Instructor and ESO Director of Dance for many years.
